What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Our website uses Google Analytics to help us improve your experience with our website. Google Analytics tracks how users interact with our site and information about the source of the traffic. Information collected via Google Analytics is not tied to you as an individual and cannot be traced back to you. We do not track users after they have left our site.

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and the browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Any media files uploaded to our site are publicly accessible. Information associated with uploaded files can include location, time, date, and other attached data. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Our website collects information using contact forms. Contact forms are filled by choice by individuals and are not required when using our site. Information entered into our contact forms is stored in our CRM to deliver requested files or for marketing purposes. Your information can be deleted if requested.

Cookies and Cache

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. We may use services to process & cache your data temporarily. Please see for more details.

Our website uses Google Analytics to help us improve your experience with our website. Google Analytics is a tool created by Google that helps monitor and analyze web traffic. Google Analytics collects data by placing a cookie on a visitor’s browser when they view the site. This helps track how many people are viewing the site, where they are viewing the site from, and what pages they view. You can view Google Analytics’ privacy policy here >

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

The data collected on our site is never sold to a third party.

Third party service providers that do have access to your data through collections on this site include Google Analytics (Privacy Policy), Contact Form 7 (Privacy Policy), and MailChimp (Privacy Policy).

Visitor comments may also be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Information collected in contact forms are saved into our CRM until unsubscribed.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

We use software and admin restrictions to protect your privacy, including but not limited to firewalls and limited website administrative access. However we cannot guarantee safety, and any information provided is done so at your own risk.
